You may be familiar with the saying “your body is
your temple.” That comes from the Bible – your
body is the temple of the holy spirit. Now how
does that relate to us as entrepreneurs? Well it
does not take too much observation to realize
that business builders are generally so focused and all too willing to
sacrifice their health in the pursuit of wealth and financial freedom.
Once you hit the accelerator to put that vehicle (your business venture) in
gear, you’re watching all the monitors on your dashboard associated with
your business, but how about those flashing indicators warning us of
danger where our health is concerned. And what of your health risks that
don’t come with warning signs?
Too many of us will say “I’ll worry about that after I become Director” or
Diamond or whatever level of success is offered by your system. What if
the prize was a new luxury vehicle? How would you maintain it? Would
you change the oil? Would you wash it regularly? Would you pour sugar
in the gas tank? Of course we would take care of that vehicle.
Why should we take less care of the vehicle that’s helping us to build
our business by poisoning it with a steady diet that is unbalanced,
defined by fast food, deprived of rest, and lacking for water as well as
healthy fruits and veggies.
1st Corinthians 3:16 says, “Don’t you know that you yourselves are
God’s temple and that Gods’s spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God’s
temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is sacred, and you are that
temple.” We know occasionally you must sacrifice your normal healthy
practices in order to reach your goals, but Temple Temperance is in order.
To your ever expanding achievements!

Whether they aim too high and miss or aim too low and hit, my business may be for them.
